About the Role
This role is responsible for managing high-impact client partnerships within the EHR ecosystem, ensuring clients achieve value through strategic guidance, solution alignment, and ongoing support to foster retention and growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic account management for key EHR partners
- Develop long-term client success plans aligned with organizational goals
- Serve as primary point of contact for executive-level stakeholders
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing client relationships
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to relay client feedback
- Drive adoption and utilization of platform capabilities
- Monitor client health metrics and proactively address risks
- Negotiate contract renewals and upsell initiatives
- Represent client needs in internal roadmap discussions
- Coordinate cross-functional teams during onboarding and implementation
- Maintain deep knowledge of EHR industry trends and regulations
- Deliver quarterly business reviews with client leadership
- Advocate for client-driven product enhancements
- Support sales efforts during new logo acquisition
- Ensure alignment between client objectives and technical capabilities
- Manage escalation processes for critical client issues
- Track and report on key performance indicators for assigned accounts
- Foster trust through consistent, transparent communication
- Guide clients through digital health transformation initiatives
- Maintain documentation of strategic account plans and progress
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in healthcare administration or business
- Prior experience at a health IT vendor or EHR company
- Existing network within the EHR provider community
- Hands-on experience with integration platforms
- Exposure to value-based care or population health initiatives
- Certification in project management or healthcare IT
- Background in clinical operations or informatics
- Familiarity with ONC certification requirements
- Experience supporting large-scale go-live deployments
- Knowledge of healthcare API ecosystems
