We are looking for a Sr Staff SoC Application Engineer to be a highly influential contributor, providing advanced software solutions for safe and secure automotive SoCs to car and ECU manufacturers. You will help shape the future of mobility through this transformative role.
What You'll Do
- Understand Software-Defined Vehicle customer needs, provide technical support for software and development environments, and deliver performance improvements to accelerate advanced automotive system development for Japanese clients.
- Evaluate and lead improvements to Android software and tooling maturity and usability, proposing enhancements to customers and internal design teams.
- Lead the creation of application notes aimed at providing a user-friendly platform environment.
- Collaborate with Sales, FAEs, Product Marketing, and Systems Engineers to lead the building of competitive application demos, supporting product promotion and new business development.
- Stay current with advanced OS (Android, Linux), RTOS, hypervisor, middleware, functional safety, and security solution trends, leading the proposal of competitive solutions.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience implementing and evaluating Android OS, device drivers, and software applications, including debugging.
- 5+ years of experience implementing software programs in C language and providing technical support for ARM SoC products.
- A challenger spirit focused on creating value for customers.
- Experience in automotive, computing servers, robotics, or industrial sectors.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems, specifically Android.
