Responsibilities
- Support the CFO and accounting team in achieving financial objectives
- Review, validate, and consolidate financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Prepare and finalize monthly financial reporting packages
- Prepare quarterly bank covenant compliance reports
- Assist in conducting year-end audits to support future acquisition activities in the New York and Connecticut regions
- Investigate, resolve, and communicate issues related to vendor account discrepancies or unpaid balances
- Compile consolidated monthly financial statements covering income, balance sheets, and cash flows
- Conduct payroll review and provide final approval
- Calculate employee commissions accurately and on schedule
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of departmental standard operating procedures
- Produce recurring monthly financial reports
- Perform tasks related to year-end audit preparation and coordination
