F5 is looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our sales organization. In this technical sales role, you will support the sales team by providing deep technical knowledge around F5 solutions to customers and partners. You will act as a trusted adviser, understanding their technical and business challenges to drive successful outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Articulate the F5 product strategy and position the value proposition for customer business objectives.
- Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, solution designs, demonstrations, and proof of concepts.
- Mentor and educate sales teams on the value of F5 solutions and key business drivers.
- Determine opportunity viability and map organizational structure.
- Drive the sales process with the Account Manager by identifying and securing validation from Technical Decision Makers.
- Provide consistent, high-quality customer service throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Collaborate with internal technical and sales resources, sharing best practices and expertise.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of related industry experience.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity or experience with F5 or similar industry solution deployment.
- Relevant professional certifications.
Technical Stack
- Traffic management and load-balancing technologies (e.g., F5, Citrix, Riverbed, Kemp).
- HTTP, web servers, web applications, and associated protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, WebSocket, SSL, DNS).
- Linux-/UNIX-based systems, networking technologies, and Internet security products.
- Cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Microservices architecture, systems, and tools (K8s, Docker, etc.).
- API development and/or management.
- DevOps environment tools, processes, and culture.
Team & Environment
This role is part of the sales organization and works in partnership with an Account Manager.
