About the Role
This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and usability. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust technical solutions that meet product goals.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend and frontend components for a cloud-based platform
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to define feature requirements
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code across multiple layers of the application
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
- Optimize application performance and system reliability
- Work within agile development cycles using iterative planning and delivery
- Contribute to architectural discussions and long-term technical planning
- Ensure software solutions align with security and compliance standards
- Support continuous integration and deployment pipelines
- Engage in technical mentoring of junior team members
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies and frameworks when appropriate
- Monitor application behavior in production environments
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical system support
- Document technical designs and implementation decisions
- Collaborate with QA teams to improve test coverage and automation
- Refactor legacy systems to improve maintainability and performance
- Implement APIs that are consistent, scalable, and developer-friendly
- Gather and respond to user feedback to guide product improvements
- Stay current with industry trends and evolving best practices
- Ensure accessibility and internationalization standards are met
- Work with data storage systems to manage large-scale information efficiently
- Contribute to frontend user experience improvements using modern frameworks
- Support platform extensibility through integrations and plugins
