Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development and maintenance of backend infrastructure supporting international ticketing operations, including high-profile events like LA28.
- Create resilient distributed systems capable of managing sudden and massive increases in user traffic during ticket on-sale periods.
- Make strategic architectural choices across service layers, weighing factors such as performance, cost efficiency, and system uptime.
- Develop and refine APIs that serve both internal applications and third-party partner integrations at scale.
- Evaluate system efficiency using real-world data, stress tests, and monitoring tools to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Ensure data integrity and fair access under high-concurrency conditions, addressing issues like queuing logic and race conditions.
- Implement anti-fraud and anti-bot measures tailored for high-volume, high-demand ticketing environments.
- Guide technical reviews and influence engineering best practices and long-term platform evolution.
- Work closely with product and business teams to shape solutions in complex, evolving domains.
- Utilize AI-powered development tools to enhance coding speed and improve software quality.
