Responsibilities
- Proactively detect and evaluate risks related to platform integrity and abuse.
- Create technical methods for detecting and reducing harmful activities.
- Respond to and examine potential issues including scams, fraud, and illegal goods or actions.
- Work with various departments to strengthen collaborative relationships.
- Perform regular assessments to support legal and regulatory requirements.
- Act with customer privacy in mind, focusing on clearly harmful activities and avoiding excessive measures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus 4+ years of professional experience in global affairs, intelligence, or investigations; or 6+ years of such experience without a degree.
- 4+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), geospatial tools (e.g., ArcGIS), or statistical software (e.g., R).
- 4+ years of experience investigating, mitigating, or dealing with illicit operators such as fraud, abuse, cybersecurity, or other illegal activities.
Nice to Have
- Strong analytical research and communication abilities, including excellent written and verbal skills.
- International professional experience, such as working abroad or on global projects or businesses.
- Background in cybersecurity operations, threat detection, or vulnerability assessment in high-risk settings.
- Familiarity with research and intelligence analysis methods, including open-source intelligence (OSINT) techniques.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of U.S. and international economic sanctions and export control laws and regulations.

- Ability to travel as needed for business (15%).
- This position is based in Bastrop, TX and requires being onsite—remote work not considered.
- Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
