Responsibilities
- Engage in the planning, rollout, and ongoing support of a wide area network spanning over 70 sites within the judicial system.
- Set up and manage network infrastructure devices including routers, switches, uninterruptible power supplies, controllers, and wireless access points.
- Administer network management systems, including IP address tracking, capacity forecasting, performance evaluation, and fault diagnosis.
- Lead, coordinate, and supervise team efforts to promptly and accurately resolve end-user hardware and software network issues.
- Conduct testing, deployment, performance tracking, issue resolution, and recordkeeping for a statewide network using industry-standard practices in security, disaster recovery, business continuity, change management, and user support.
- Support the development of resilient network architectures, serve as the main telecom contact, lead implementation projects, and deliver continuous operational support.
- Oversee the setup, upkeep, and documentation of network components such as routers, switches, wireless controllers, VPN concentrators, and adaptive security and intrusion prevention systems.
