About the Role
This role is responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing enterprise network systems, ensuring high availability and performance across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor network performance and identify potential bottlenecks or outages
- Diagnose and resolve advanced network connectivity issues
- Support the configuration and maintenance of routers, switches, and firewalls
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement network upgrades and expansions
- Ensure network security policies are followed across all systems
- Document network architecture, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures
- Respond to network incidents with timely resolution and root cause analysis
- Assist in disaster recovery planning and network redundancy strategies
- Evaluate new networking technologies for potential deployment
- Maintain accurate records of network inventory and IP address allocation
- Support secure remote access solutions for distributed teams
- Troubleshoot WAN and LAN connectivity across geographically dispersed sites
- Participate in after-hours maintenance and on-call rotations
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements
- Work with vendors to resolve hardware and service-related issues
