Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy a standardized global data creation workflow aligned with enterprise master data governance frameworks to support global manufacturing operations.
- Apply deep expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management and master data governance to manage materials, bills of materials, recipes, production planning, quality inspection, costing, and related configurations.
- Partner with business units, process owners, and cross-functional teams to analyze material data requirements, governance policies, and system integrations.
- Lead initiatives to enhance data management practices for operations, reporting, and analytics by establishing controls, processes, and best practices.
- Educate teams on data lifecycle management by collaborating with functional experts across operations, business units, and IT.
- Develop and maintain documentation including process flows, data models, and user guides to support knowledge sharing and system usability.
- Support site-level initiatives such as new product introductions, alternate sourcing, and BOM or recipe changes, including change control documentation.
- Deliver expert-level support for SAP Master Data Governance modules, resolving functional issues, incidents, and change requests in coordination with support teams.
- Manage change control processes, including stakeholder engagement, impact assessment, documentation approval, and user testing to ensure stable system operations.
- Identify and implement process improvements in master data governance using SAP capabilities and industry best practices while maintaining compliance.
- Promote Agile methodologies across teams and projects to encourage iterative development and continuous enhancement.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative work environment that supports open communication and high-performance teamwork.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience managing SAP Master Data Governance for materials, procurement, planning, vendors, customers, and related data objects.
- Minimum of three years designing, implementing, and configuring master data management (MDM) solutions and data governance frameworks.
- Proven experience leading business process reengineering and assessment initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams, driving collaboration, and delivering transformational change.
- Advanced understanding of SAP EWM master data and at least two of the following areas: production, materials management, or quality.
