Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, test, troubleshoot, inspect, and service custom mechanical, electromechanical, and electrical/avionics systems, along with commercial off-the-shelf components
- Perform design for excellence assessments to verify product designs meet criteria for cost-efficiency, manufacturability, inspectability, consistency, precision, and adherence to specifications
- Partner with engineering, quality assurance, and certification personnel to integrate production feasibility, regulatory compliance, and risk reduction throughout development stages including prototyping, research, certification, and manufacturing
- Create and enforce compliance with internal policies, engineering change processes, and quality management system requirements
- Establish and manage procedures ensuring documentation such as work instructions, test protocols, inspection records, and other technical data remains accurate, up to date, and complete
- Lead investigations into failure root causes and execute corrective actions promptly to uphold project timelines, product quality, and system reliability
