Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, repair, modify, test, and fabricate custom and commercial-off-the-shelf mechanical, electromechanical, and electrical/avionics components, wiring, and interconnect systems.
- Perform design for excellence evaluations to assess designs for cost efficiency, ease of production, inspection feasibility, consistency, precision, and adherence to specifications.
- Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and certification groups to integrate manufacturability, regulatory compliance, and risk reduction into every stage of product development, from research and prototyping to certification and mass production.
- Establish and enforce compliance with company policies, technical directives, engineering change orders, service bulletins, airworthiness mandates, and quality management standards.
- Create and manage documentation processes to ensure installation records, inspection logs, and maintenance entries are accurate, up to date, and fully traceable.
- Lead investigations into failure root causes and execute effective corrective actions to uphold project timelines, product quality, and system dependability.
- Maintain an available inventory of necessary tools, functional parts, components, and consumable materials required for aircraft maintenance and operational support.

- Must be available for travel up to 30% of the time, primarily for training in San Martin, CA
