OpenTable is hiring a Sr. Manager, Revenue Strategy & Operations (Remote, Vancouver)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct complex data analysis to inform global sales, services, and marketing strategies
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools to assess team and market performance, identifying actionable insights
  • Ensure data accuracy in internal dashboards and reports
  • Align key performance indicators (KPIs) across departments, collaborating to establish a unified data source
  • Present data findings to diverse audiences, from sales teams to executive leadership
  • Identify trends and anomalies in data to uncover business opportunities and best practices
  • Translate data into actionable insights, recommendations, and reports for sales and operations teams
  • Communicate project progress, expectations, and results to leadership and peers
  • Gather and address feedback from the Global Restaurant Sales and Services team for process and system improvements
  • Create and maintain financial models, forecasts, and dashboards for various business scenarios
  • Implement feedback-driven process and system enhancements
  • Understand revenue operations, including goaling, commission plans, and sales strategies
  • Enhance Salesforce.com (SFDC) processes and data management

Requirements

  • Proven experience analyzing large datasets to identify trends and make recommendations
  • Proficiency with Salesforce
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Preset
  • Proficiency in SQL queries
  • Background in finance or analytics
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with big data and databases
  • Experience in sales operations, including goaling, territory management, and commission plans
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Business Optimization and Product teams using Salesforce.com terminology
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP; equivalent Google Sheets experience accepted
  • Proven data analysis skills with a focus on driving sound decision-making
  • Ability to think strategically about complex issues and develop actionable recommendations
  • Experience in operations, including measuring and improving efficiency and scale initiatives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of cross-functional collaboration
  • High energy and enthusiasm, with a willingness to take on challenging projects and lead peers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including detailing business processes and requirements
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Excellent business liaison skills, with the ability to simplify complex systems for business users
  • 8+ years of experience in an analytics role
  • 8+ years of experience using data to make recommendations
  • College degree
