Zeeco is hiring a Sr. Manager / Manager - Controls and Instrumentation

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and execution of control and instrumentation designs for oil and gas, as well as fired equipment systems
  • Review and authorize instrument datasheets
  • Review and authorize hook-up drawings
  • Review and authorize junction box schematics
  • Review and authorize cable routing plans and schedules
  • Review and authorize material take-off lists for instrumentation
  • Supervise the sizing and selection process for control valves
  • Supervise the sizing and selection process for on-off valves
  • Supervise the sizing and selection process for flow measurement devices and assemblies
  • Ensure P&IDs are developed to a high standard
  • Ensure cause and effect logic diagrams are accurately produced
  • Ensure control strategies and operational narratives are thoroughly documented
  • Lead the design, verification, and resolution of issues in Burner Management Systems
  • Develop and review logic diagrams, interlock sequences, and emergency shutdown mechanisms
  • Ensure systems comply with relevant safety codes such as NFPA, IEC, ISA, and API
  • Support the deployment of safety instrumented systems based on SIL assessments
  • Serve as the lead technical authority for instrumentation across concurrent projects
  • Collaborate with process, mechanical, electrical, and project teams to deliver integrated solutions
  • Engage with clients, consultants, and suppliers for technical alignment and approvals
  • Track engineering performance, quality outputs, and schedule adherence
  • Manage PLC system integration tasks, including I/O list creation
  • Manage PLC system integration tasks, including logic verification
  • Manage PLC system integration tasks, including functional testing
  • Lead and participate in factory acceptance testing activities
  • Lead and participate in site acceptance testing activities
