Responsibilities
- Create high-fidelity, physics-driven models capturing aircraft behavior, including aerodynamics, ground interactions, and actuator dynamics
- Determine required flight tests, request data, and analyze results to refine and inform model development
- Execute closed-loop simulations integrating flight control systems with dynamic aircraft models
- Build software tools to visualize and interpret simulation and flight test datasets
- Validate simulation models by comparing outputs to actual flight test results
