About the Role

The role involves building and maintaining complex data pipelines that support portfolio analysis and reporting, working across the full stack to ensure reliability, scalability, and accuracy in a high-performance environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement backend services for processing financial data
  • Develop frontend interfaces for data visualization and user interaction
  • Optimize data workflows for speed and accuracy
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to define feature requirements
  • Ensure data consistency across distributed systems
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
  • Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
  • Improve system observability and monitoring tools
  • Support data onboarding and transformation pipelines
  • Work with large-scale datasets in a secure environment
  • Enhance API performance and reliability
  • Contribute to architectural decisions for data-intensive applications
  • Maintain alignment with security and compliance standards
  • Drive improvements in development tooling and infrastructure
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices
  • Evaluate new technologies for data processing efficiency
  • Ensure backward compatibility during system upgrades
  • Support deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate on cross-team initiatives involving data integrity
  • Respond to stakeholder feedback on data functionality
  • Improve error handling and recovery mechanisms in workflows
  • Document technical designs and system behavior
  • Conduct performance testing and capacity planning
  • Align development efforts with business objectives

Nice to Have

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience in financial technology or data-heavy applications
  • Familiarity with real-time data processing systems
  • Knowledge of GraphQL and Apollo
  • Experience with data visualization libraries
  • Background in data governance or compliance frameworks
  • Exposure to Kubernetes or container orchestration
  • Understanding of event-driven architectures
  • Experience with streaming data platforms like Kafka
  • Contributions to open-source projects
