Job Type: Remote Job Summary: We're seeking a talented, full stack lead software engineer with deep knowledge of n-tier business applications to join our emsCharts development team. The emsCharts SaaS application is a comprehensive suite of modules critical to helping EMS agencies manage their day-to-day operations. Our primary mission? Providing emergency medical personnel with the software they need to document patient care and ultimately improve patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will create, enhance, and maintain customer-facing applications for First Responders within the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) domain, working seamlessly in a cross-functional agile team. You'll be experienced across all application stack layers—from backend business logic and database frameworks to crafting dynamic, intuitive user interfaces. More importantly, you'll help advance our product by collaborating closely with your team and iterating towards solutions that not only delight our customers but make you genuinely proud. After all, our customers are out there saving lives, and our job is to ensure they can do that quickly and efficiently. Essential Functions: • Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, UX, QA, and engineering teams to create effective solutions • Participate comprehensively in .NET/web-based product delivery, including planning, design, development, code reviews, cross-platform/cross-browser testing, and production support • Lead complex feature design, partnering across team and organizational boundaries to solve intricate engineering challenges • Drive team improvements in features, functionality, process, architecture, design, and performance • Mentor junior team members in their professional growth journey • Develop and evaluate code ensuring validity, structure, security, performance, and alignment with industry best practices • Deliver assignments on schedule, maintaining quality standards and agile best practices • Adhere to ZOLL's engineering standards across UI development, database access, documentation, and methodology • Provide critical support to operations teams, troubleshooting and resolving high-priority customer issues • Monitor and respond to production incidents, ensuring high availability of software systems Required Education and Experience: • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience • 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack engineer in an ASP.NET environment Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Proven track record delivering customer-facing web applications using dynamic UI frameworks and .NET C# • Mastery of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web-based UI frameworks • Extensive experience with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) • Expert-level knowledge of relational databases and SQL technologies • Proficiency in version control, CI/CD tooling • Deep background in automated testing and mocking frameworks • Strong business problem-solving skills • Technical and team leadership experience • Solid understanding of Agile development principles • Willingness to work with and improve legacy code Bonus Skills: • ColdFusion knowledge • Experience with SaaS reporting/analytics platforms • Clinical domain expertise in EMS • AI technology integration experience ZOLL is an equal opportunity employer.
