Zeeco is hiring a Sr. Engineer - IT Service

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support local, wide, and wireless area networks to ensure consistent performance and uptime
  • Set up and oversee network hardware such as routers, switches (Cisco), and wireless access systems
  • Deploy and resolve issues with VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), and switching methods
  • Track network performance and detect potential performance issues or security weaknesses
  • Configure and maintain firewalls (Sophos, Checkpoint), including NAT, VPN, and security rules
  • Establish and support intrusion prevention and detection systems, DMZ layouts, and SSL/TLS inspection
  • Analyze network traffic using diagnostic tools like Wireshark, Nmap, and SolarWinds
  • Respond to security events, determine root causes, and apply remediation measures
  • Install, configure, and support Windows Server environments (2012 R2 / 2016)
  • Maintain Active Directory components including group policies, LDAP, FSMO roles, and replication
  • Operate and maintain essential services such as DNS, DHCP, and backup solutions
  • Support virtual environments using Hyper-V and VMware platforms
  • Set up and maintain secure remote connectivity via IPsec, SSL, and Site-to-Site VPNs
  • Enable and troubleshoot secure remote access for users
  • Conduct regular maintenance on system hardware and software components
  • Deliver advanced technical support for network and system incidents (L2/L3 level)
  • Follow structured IT service practices including incident, change, and patch management
  • Keep updated records of network setups, operational procedures, and troubleshooting steps
  • Assist with Office 365 setup and user account administration
  • Configure and fix issues with email systems and end-user network access
  • Offer technical assistance for hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux/Mac), and network problems
