CrowdStrike is hiring a Senior Engineer II to join our sensor development team. In this remote role, you will be responsible for building the core endpoint security sensor for Windows, Mac, and Linux. You will own major components, architect solutions, and implement features across OS subsystems to stop breaches.

What You'll Do

Partner with the Windows kernel mode sensor team on architecture and strategy for next-generation security software.
Develop new product concepts and support teams in designing cross-platform software.
Own features from design to delivery, including participation in product demos.
Collaborate with multi-functional teams across various global locations.
Lead projects efficiently while maximizing performance and minimizing costs.
Ensure high standards for design, code quality, and unit and component testing.

What We're Looking For

In-depth knowledge of C++ and Windows OS Kernel Development.
Strong low-level OS internals expertise in either Windows, Mac OS, or Linux.
Experience debugging memory corruptions, process contentions, and system performance.
Proven track record of shipping major features and releases with teams.
Ability to lead, mentor, communicate, and collaborate effectively in a distributed team.

Nice to Have

OS system expertise for core concepts and subsystems such as WFP, TCP/IP, USB, or file systems.
Knowledge in security principles.
Strong background in building scalable, lightweight, and high-performance systems.
Familiarity with Agile development processes.
Familiarity with source control systems such as Git.
