Responsibilities
- Create and maintain scalable ETL and ELT pipelines that integrate data from multiple sources into Snowflake Data Cloud.
- Oversee and enhance data movement within AWS infrastructure, including S3, Lambda, and IAM, with a focus on availability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Use Databricks and Python with PySpark to process large-scale data and execute complex transformations.
- Work with teams to develop and expand a centralized Semantic Layer using tools like dbt Semantic Layer or MetricFlow to unify business metrics and definitions.
- Develop well-structured, tested, and versioned data models using dbt to serve as the trusted source for reporting and analytics.
- Establish automated testing and monitoring systems to maintain data accuracy and system reliability in production data marts.
