Responsibilities
- Manage, observe, and sustain Windows Server EC2 systems on AWS with a focus on availability, security, and operational efficiency.
- Design and support AWS-based application deployments using proven methods for scalability, reliability, cost control, and speed.
- Enforce AWS security standards such as patching, access permissions, data encryption, and network safeguards for Windows workloads.
- Diagnose and resolve incidents related to Windows Server in the AWS cloud to minimize service interruptions.
- Develop and execute comprehensive backup, restoration, and disaster recovery plans for cloud-hosted Windows servers in line with industry standards.
- Collaborate with DevOps, networking, and security teams to integrate Windows systems smoothly into the cloud ecosystem.
- Serve as a technical expert for client-facing hosted and disaster recovery cloud initiatives.
- Provide ongoing support for internal and external customers within a 24/7 data center operational model.
- Deploy, maintain, and support large-scale computing and storage infrastructure in cloud environments.
- Support web application services operating within cloud platforms.
- Assist in transferring data from on-premises systems to cloud platforms.
- Support continuous improvement through post-action reviews, knowledge dissemination, and process innovation.
- Conduct peer evaluations and operational audits across key functional areas.
- Participate in after-hours on-call support rotations.
- Adhere to all relevant U.S. FDA regulations for medical devices, ISO 13485 standards, and other applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support cloud service operations.
