GoFasti is hiring a Sr Backend Developer

Responsibilities

  • Create, build, and sustain backend services and APIs for device management software
  • Collaborate with telecom clients such as Nokia, Telefonica, and Claro to diagnose and fix software problems
  • Develop and enhance database solutions using MongoDB and MySQL
  • Apply caching techniques with Redis
  • Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Work with a geographically dispersed team across Latin America and the United States
  • Assist in technical issue resolution, including analyzing packet captures and identifying network problems
  • Operate within Agile/Scrum methodologies using Atlassian tools

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience with Java as the main language and Elasticsearch
  • Skilled in Spring Boot and JDBC frameworks
  • Proficiency with MongoDB and MySQL databases
  • Knowledge of Redis for caching
  • Experience working with Jetty and Apache servers
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for deployment
  • Proficiency with IntelliJ and Eclipse IDEs
  • Experience using GIT for version control
  • Competence with Maven and JDK build tools
  • Experience with Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence for project management

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Background in telecom software, such as with Nokia, Huawei, or Ciena
  • Understanding of broadband forum specifications
  • Previous work with companies like Nokia, Huawei, or Telefonica
