Rula is seeking a Sr. Analytics Engineer to architect the data products that power insights across our entire organization. You will be the driving force behind trusted, scalable data models in dbt and Redshift, enabling decision-making for patient engagement and clinical operations.

What We're Looking For

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Data Science.
5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or business intelligence roles, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality data models and reporting assets.
Advanced proficiency with dbt (Cloud or Core) and experience designing modular, well-documented transformation layers.
Strong SQL skills, with a deep understanding of data modeling best practices—particularly in a Kimball-style dimensional warehouse.
Experience working with cloud data warehouses, especially Amazon Redshift, including performance tuning and query optimization.
Hands-on experience with BI tools, preferably Looker, including explore and dashboard development and LookML configuration.
A product mindset—focused on enabling others through clean, reusable data assets rather than one-off analyses.

Nice to Have

Experience building and maintaining a centralized semantic layer for a multi-team or multi-domain environment.
Experience working in a healthcare or regulated data environment, with an understanding of HIPAA or PHI considerations.
Exposure to event-based data models and translating them into reporting-friendly structures.
Comfort working in stakeholder-facing roles, helping non-technical teams frame data questions and self-serve from curated datasets.
Experience contributing to data platform or data governance initiatives, such as metric standardization, data cataloging, or access management.
Familiarity with CI/CD practices in analytics engineering, including dbt Cloud jobs, testing frameworks, and version control with Git.
