Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and executing communications campaigns.
- Write materials such as press releases, media advisories, pitches to reporters, op-eds, and other content.
- Monitor news coverage on climate and energy topics, and generate reports on narrative trends, potential risks, and opportunities.
- Actively share updates and briefings on message testing, polling, research, and related areas.
- Work with the communications team and partner with coalitions and legal experts.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled as a sophomore, junior, or senior in a college or university program during spring 2027.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Demonstrated commitment to the values of justice, excellence, inclusion, and partnership.
- Must be available to work 15 to 18 hours per week.
Compensation
Paid position; hourly rate for undergraduate students is $19.61 for spring 2027.
Work Arrangement
Remote work within the United States is allowed.
Team
Collaborates across the communications department and with coalitions and legal experts.
