Responsibilities
- Deliver speech and language interventions under supervision
- Conduct therapy sessions via secure telehealth platforms
- Maintain accurate client progress records
- Follow individualized treatment plans
- Support clients across different age groups
- Communicate client progress to supervising clinicians
- Use culturally and linguistically appropriate materials
- Assist in preparing therapy resources
- Engage families in the therapeutic process
- Adhere to confidentiality standards
- Participate in team meetings
- Track session outcomes and performance metrics
- Implement feedback from supervising therapists
- Support bilingual clients in Spanish and English
- Maintain compliance with professional guidelines
- Attend required training sessions
- Assist with assessment preparation tasks
- Promote client engagement during sessions
- Follow safety and ethical protocols
- Coordinate schedules with care teams
- Respond to client and family inquiries
- Support continuity of care across sessions
- Utilize digital tools for session delivery
- Report concerns to supervising clinicians
- Contribute to quality improvement efforts
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology
- Previous remote therapy experience
- Training in bilingual assessment tools
- Experience with IEPs
- Knowledge of augmentative communication
- Certification in pediatric interventions
- Experience in school settings
- Familiarity with specific client populations
