About the Role
The Speech Language Pathologist will provide teletherapy services to children with speech, language, and feeding challenges. This role involves conducting evaluations, creating individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with caregivers and educational teams to support client progress.
Responsibilities
- Deliver virtual speech and language therapy sessions to children
- Conduct initial assessments and ongoing progress evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and educators
- Maintain accurate and timely client documentation
- Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in team meetings and interdisciplinary coordination
- Provide caregiver training and home practice recommendations
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Follow ethical and professional standards in telepractice
Nice to Have
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience with early intervention programs
- Training in specific therapeutic approaches such as PROMPT or AAC
- Previous teletherapy experience
