About the Role
Deliver speech and language evaluations and therapeutic interventions to children via telehealth platforms. Monitor progress and collaborate with caregivers and educational teams to support client outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual speech and language assessments for pediatric clients
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings
- Provide direct therapy sessions using secure telehealth systems
- Track client progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with parents and guardians on therapy goals
- Coordinate with schools and educational staff when appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Follow state and federal regulatory guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews
- Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology
- Support clients with articulation, language, and communication disorders
- Engage in ongoing professional development
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient privacy standards
- Use standardized assessment tools remotely
- Communicate outcomes to referring sources as required
