About the Role
Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services remotely to pediatric and adult clients. Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders while collaborating with families and interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual evaluations to identify speech and language impairments
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Provide therapy sessions in both English and Spanish
- Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with caregivers and educational staff
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments and therapy notes
- Use teletherapy platforms to deliver services effectively
- Support clients with articulation, fluency, and language comprehension
- Address communication challenges in bilingual and multilingual learners
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews
- Follow state and federal regulations for service delivery
- Engage in ongoing professional development
- Respond to client and family inquiries promptly
- Coordinate care with other healthcare providers
- Ensure cultural sensitivity in all interactions
- Adapt materials for Spanish-speaking clients
- Administer standardized assessments remotely
- Train families on communication strategies
- Maintain client confidentiality
- Meet productivity and scheduling expectations
Nice to Have
- Experience in school-based settings
