Societe Generale is hiring a Specialist Software Engineer to contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle. In this role, you will be responsible for translating requirements into high-quality source code and collaborating within an Agile team to deliver robust applications. You will also engage in production support and incident resolution, ensuring system reliability.

What You'll Do

• Understand software requirements and develop them into working source code.
• Take accountability for delivering high-quality code as per project timelines.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to complete deliverables.
• Record and manage production incidents, engaging and notifying the team as needed.
• Participate in production incident resolution with stakeholders and management.
• Manage application and infrastructure production configurations, processes, and releases.
• Get mentored on the best practices followed in the software industry.
• Write well-designed, testable code.
• Contribute to envisioning system features and functionality.
• Ensure application designs conform with business goals.
• Develop and test software to high quality and standards.
• Perform production support and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Understand and follow Agile practices including daily scrum, iteration planning, and retrospectives.
• Set priorities on work products according to agreed iteration goals.
• Work effectively by sharing best practices with other team members.
• Be flexible to work and support USA hours.

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience in .NET Core Web API, React, Python, and .NET framework.
• Strong experience in MSSQL or PostgreSQL database.
• Good knowledge of Cloud (Azure) and CI/CD.
• Good understanding of unit Test Frameworks like NUnit/XUnit.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills are a must.
• Experience in Agile methodology.
• A self-motivated candidate with good team spirit.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
