Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee forestry and fuels management projects.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including landowners, government agencies, and community groups.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for forest management.
- Conduct field assessments and monitoring of forest health.
- Manage and analyze data related to forestry and fuels projects.
- Prepare and submit reports on project progress and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Provide technical assistance and training to project partners.
- Coordinate with other organizations to leverage resources and expertise.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to engage community members.
- Promote sustainable forestry practices and community involvement.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies.
- Identify and address potential risks and challenges in projects.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of grant proposals and funding applications.
- Participate in public outreach and education initiatives.
- Conduct research and stay updated on best practices in forestry and fuels management.
- Support the development of educational materials and resources.
- Assist in the planning and execution of community events and programs.
- Provide input on policy and program development related to forestry.
