Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate records of supplier performance.
- Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align sourcing strategies with business goals.
- Conduct regular audits of supplier facilities.
- Implement and maintain sustainable sourcing practices.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide regular reports on sourcing activities and performance.
- Train and supervise sourcing team members.
- Participate in industry events and conferences.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies for sourcing processes.
- Manage budget for sourcing activities.
- Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a database of potential suppliers.
- Ensure timely delivery of coffee beans to production facilities.
- Collaborate with quality control team to ensure product standards.
- Implement and maintain ethical sourcing practices.
- Provide feedback to suppliers on performance and areas for improvement.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Experience working in Colombia or Latin America.
- Familiarity with coffee bean varieties and processing methods.
- Experience in implementing sustainable sourcing initiatives.
- Knowledge of industry-specific software and tools.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
- Fluency in additional languages spoken in Colombia.
- Experience in managing international supply chains.
- Knowledge of fair trade and organic certification processes.
- Experience in data analysis and reporting tools.
