EcoVadis is looking for a Solutions Architect to play a critical role in shaping our long-term architecture, ensuring platforms remain scalable, resilient, AI-enabled, and API-driven. This role bridges business strategy and engineering execution, turning complex business needs into pragmatic, future-proof solutions that support EcoVadis’s growth and innovation agenda.
What You'll Do
- Communicate with business stakeholders, analyze requirements, and suggest efficient solutions.
- Define and maintain the architecture roadmap and technical solutions for new and existing functionality.
- Lead the design of API-first and contract-driven architectures, ensuring APIs are consistent, well-governed, and reusable.
- Deliver architectural guidance, conceptual design, and technical and process innovations.
- Contribute to the definition and implementation of AI-enabled architectural patterns, such as agent orchestration and workflow automation.
- Investigate the latest technology and build quick Proof of Concept functionalities to address future business needs.
- Prepare, improve, and introduce new approaches, methodologies, tools, and techniques within the department.
- Prepare, review, and validate software technical blueprints.
- Govern architecture decisions and technical implementation.
What We're Looking For
- At least 5 years of experience as an Architect.
- Deep expertise in API strategy, API management, and API design, including RESTful and event-based APIs, contract-first design, versioning strategies, and API lifecycle management.
- Practical experience or strong exposure to Agentic AI architectures, including LLM-based systems and tool-augmented agents, agent orchestration, workflows, and decision automation.
- Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining microservices architectures with a deep understanding of best practices and design patterns.
- Excellent knowledge of all aspects of the software engineering process, including Coding, Testing, Deployment, Scalability, Security, and Maintainability.
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft stack (.Net, .Net Core, Web API, SQL Server, Azure).
- Extensive experience in defining and enforcing architectural patterns (SOA, CQRS, Event Sourcing etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to apply strategies for efficient communication, data consistency, and resilience across microservices, including experience with API design and event-driven architectures.
- Solid experience in implementing observability, monitoring, and logging solutions for SaaS applications.
- Experience working with global and regional projects and virtual expert teams, appreciating local differences and adapting to different cultures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English.
