You will elucidate the value of Broadcom's Application Networking and Security (ANS) solutions, assist the field organization in achieving sales targets, and play a crucial role in identifying and cultivating strategic customer growth opportunities. You will manage technical deal closure and collaborate across pre-sales, post-sales, and product teams to ensure customers not only purchase our technologies but also implement, utilize, and derive long-term value from them. Key Customer Responsibilities: • Manage technical engagement throughout the sales lifecycle — from opportunity qualification to deal closure. • Execute technical workshops, solution presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts. • Perform comprehensive assessments of customer environments and strategies to align ANS solutions with their long-term objectives. • Assist customers in developing architectures and multi-year roadmaps for ANS technologies, including Avi Load Balancer, vDefend micro-segmentation and advanced threat prevention. • Serve as the technical voice of the customer and provide insights to product management and engineering on customer requirements and feature requests. Driving Consumption and Customer Value: • Ensure successful deployment and adoption of ANS technologies post-sale, collaborating closely with customer success, technical account managers, and professional services. • Proactively monitor and encourage consumption of purchased entitlements, identifying and resolving adoption barriers. • Guide customers in realizing full value from ANS investments by developing deployment strategies aligned with business outcomes. • Recognize and cultivate expansion opportunities within strategic accounts based on usage patterns and future requirements. Cross-Team Collaboration: • Coordinate with the VCF (VMware Cloud Foundation) Team on technical validation and architecture alignment. • Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to synchronize customer feedback with the ANS roadmap. • Support enablement activities for the VCF Team, field sales teams, and partners to effectively position and sell ANS offerings. Skills & Experience: • Expertise in networking, security, and application delivery technologies. • Comprehensive understanding of VMware's Application Networking and Security solutions, particularly Avi, NSX, distributed firewall, and advanced threat protection. • Proven track record of influencing customer architectures and driving technical win strategies. • Superior presentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement capabilities. Leadership & Strategic Influence: • Function as a trusted advisor and technical leader within strategic accounts. • Mentor and coach team members; provide technical escalation support. • Spearhead and influence major customer initiatives and contribute to internal process improvement and innovation.
