What You'll Do
Work closely with sales and technical teams to shape solutions that meet enterprise needs, translating complex technical requirements into clear, actionable strategies. Serve as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders, helping them define expectations and realize value through open-source innovation.
Engage with C-level executives and technical leaders to understand business objectives and IT landscapes, then align Red Hat's offerings to support long-term goals. Contribute to account planning by identifying key initiatives and technical challenges, ensuring solutions are both scalable and secure.
Respond to technical inquiries in RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs with clarity and precision. Represent open-source principles through public speaking, writing, or media contributions, tailored to your preferred communication style.
Requirements
- Proven background in enterprise application architecture with at least two years of hands-on experience
- Strong grasp of one or more domains: multi-tiered systems, microservices, cloud-native design, AI applications, MLOps, or IT security including SELinux and application-level protections
- Ability to lead technical discussions and influence architectural decisions
- Fluency in both English and German for effective collaboration
- Willingness to travel regionally in line with company policy
- Authentic commitment to open-source values and collaborative development
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct involvement in open-source projects or communities
- Prior experience in pre-sales or customer-facing technical roles
