Mercedes-Benz Group AG is looking for a Solution Architect to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in AWS infrastructure, DevOps practices, and cloud migration tools to design and build robust technical solutions.
What You'll Do
- Design, architect, and implement secure and scalable AWS infrastructure solutions.
- Define and enforce DevOps best practices using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
- Lead cloud migration initiatives, utilizing tools for database and data transfer.
- Ensure system security and compliance through configuration management and monitoring.
What We're Looking For
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS networking: VPC, Subnets, Transit Gateway, NAT Gateways, VPC Peering, Direct Connect, Route53, and VPC Endpoints.
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience with AWS security tools: Security Hub, Config, Trusted Advisor, and IAM.
- Proficiency in AWS Developer Tools: CodeCommit, CodeDeploy, and CodePipeline.
- Experience building serverless solutions with AWS Lambda and CloudWatch Events.
- Deep knowledge of AWS managed services including RDS, Elasticache, and Load Balancers.
- Experience with AWS storage services: S3 and EFS.
- Familiarity with Hashicorp tools: Nomad, Consul, and Vault.
- Practical experience with DevOps tools: GitHub Actions and Bitbucket Pipelines.
- Experience setting up AWS migration tools: DMS and Datasync.
- Scripting skills in Bash.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Ansible for configuration management.
- Knowledge of containerization with Docker and orchestration with AWS EKS.
- Experience with GitLab CI.
- Familiarity with AWS Control Tower and Organizations for multi-account governance.
