About the Role

Responsibilities
- Inspect solar panel arrays to identify performance issues
- Diagnose electrical faults in inverters, wiring, and monitoring equipment
- Repair or replace defective system components in the field
- Conduct routine maintenance visits to ensure system longevity
- Verify compliance with safety codes and manufacturer specifications
- Document service activities and update work logs promptly
- Respond to customer-reported system alerts and outages
- Test system output and confirm proper grid integration
- Install firmware or software updates on monitoring hardware
- Collaborate with technical supervisors to escalate complex issues
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures during system servicing
- Use multimeters and data loggers for performance analysis
- Ensure mounting structures remain secure and undamaged
- Adhere to environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Maintain service tools and diagnostic equipment
- Support warranty-related service calls as needed
- Assist in commissioning newly repaired systems
- Follow up on unresolved issues until resolution
- Transport parts and equipment to job sites
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Meet scheduled service appointments promptly
- Comply with company protocols for vehicle and fuel use
- Report recurring equipment failures for quality feedback
- Participate in ongoing technical training sessions
