About the Role

The Solar Sales Auditor will examine sales transactions, validate documentation, and ensure adherence to internal policies and industry standards. This role supports transparency and continuous improvement in customer acquisition practices.

Responsibilities

  • Review completed solar energy sales agreements for completeness and accuracy
  • Verify that customer information matches official records and supporting documents
  • Audit sales representative interactions for compliance with company protocols
  • Identify discrepancies in system entries compared to signed contracts
  • Ensure proper disclosure forms are collected and correctly filled out
  • Cross-check incentive calculations against program guidelines
  • Validate that system design specifications align with customer site details
  • Confirm proper handling of customer identification and proof of ownership
  • Track audit findings and report trends to management
  • Support process improvements based on recurring issues
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer and employee data
  • Collaborate with sales operations to resolve flagged items
  • Conduct random sampling of closed deals for quality assurance
  • Ensure audit timelines are met consistently
  • Provide feedback to training teams on common errors
  • Assist in developing audit checklists and tools
  • Monitor changes in regulatory requirements affecting sales
  • Verify that cancellation rights are properly communicated
  • Review digital signatures for validity and completeness
  • Ensure all required disclosures are present in customer packets
  • Audit phone and virtual sales appointments for policy adherence
  • Evaluate accuracy of system production estimates provided to customers
  • Confirm proper documentation of property assessments
  • Validate that sales incentives are correctly applied
  • Report systemic issues to compliance leadership
