Requirements
- Demonstrated skill with recent versions of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems
- Familiarity with Linux platforms such as Ubuntu, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, or SUSE Linux Enterprise Server
- Strong background in managing network and storage area network infrastructure across Windows and Linux systems
- Hands-on experience configuring network switches from vendors including Cisco and Brocade
- Clear and effective written communication in English, with solid verbal expression
- Advanced problem-solving and diagnostic capabilities for technical environments
- Practical scripting knowledge using PowerShell, VBScript, Python, or Bash
- Experience utilizing packet analysis tools such as Wireshark or Finisar
Nice to Have
- Holding industry-recognized credentials such as MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, or A+
- Prior work with network switch configuration involving Dell, Juniper, or Extreme hardware
- Background working with technology from vendors including EMC, Dell, NetApp, Brocade, Emulex, QLogic, IBM, or HP storage solutions
- Familiarity with network performance testing tools like iperf, NetPerf, or Chariot
- Experience operating disk input/output measurement tools such as IOmeter, XDD, or IOzone
