Responsibilities
- Build software tools supporting surfacing, lighting, and rendering pipelines
- Address domains including material libraries, texture optimization, smart materials, scene assembly, render configuration, workflow automation, multi-shot processes, render farm operations, and tools for creative lighting
- Engage in hands-on coding and system development
- Serve as Product Owner for select toolsets
- Provide technical direction and support to team members
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and influence product roadmaps
- Support project delivery across Animation, VFX, and Interactive Experience (IXP) teams
- Lead the translation of functional needs into well-defined user stories
- Ensure consistent progress and execution velocity
- Work with engineering leads, production teams, and training staff to drive tool adoption
- Coach and guide software developers in technical growth
- Evaluate architectural designs and source code for quality and scalability
- Enforce strong engineering practices and uphold code quality standards

- Lead team in translating requirements into clear user stories
- Maintain delivery momentum
- Collaborate with managers, project teams, and trainers to promote adoption
