Responsibilities
- Organize and oversee product demonstrations and initial discovery discussions with software suppliers
- Participate in all vendor presentations, documenting comprehensive and organized notes on features, costs, and distinguishing attributes
- Create detailed written comparisons of vendor solutions relative to existing systems, including strengths and weaknesses with verbatim excerpts from presentations
- Handle continuous communication with vendors to obtain further details or clarifications after demonstrations
- Keep an updated, centralized record of all assessed tools, their evaluation status, and final recommendations
- Work closely with internal teams to define and understand requirements prior to vendor assessments
- Identify inconsistencies, warning signs, or shortcomings in vendor proposals and report them to appropriate decision-makers
