Responsibilities
- Build, update, and provide ongoing support for .NET-based software systems
- Primarily engage in system maintenance, identifying root causes of problems, and mapping data movement across interconnected platforms
- Evaluate both business needs and technical specifications
- Diagnose and fix software bugs and live environment issues
- Conduct peer code reviews and apply industry-standard development practices
- Assist in connecting systems through APIs and database integrations
- Help upgrade outdated applications to modern architectures
- Design and manage data pipelines using Apache NiFi as needed
- Create clear technical guides and user-facing support resources
- Work closely with project leads, business analysts, and quality assurance teams
- Maintain reliability and consistent operation of essential technical services
- Improve tools for monitoring, alerting, and system observability
- Provide support for infrastructure elements tied to data integration and flow
Requirements
- Proven experience with Microsoft .NET Framework, .NET Core, or .NET 6 and later versions
- Background in software design, coding, testing, and lifecycle maintenance
- Understanding of relational database systems such as SQL Server, MySQL, or other RDBMS
- Experience using version control tools like Git
- Solid ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software issues
- Effective written communication and technical documentation abilities
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Visual Basic 6
- Hands-on experience with Apache NiFi
- Exposure to RESTful APIs and web service integration
- Background in CI/CD workflows and automated testing frameworks
