Responsibilities
- Building, maintaining, and hardening our video player
- Focusing on playback performance, rendering, integrations, and overall viewer experience
- Contributing to broadcast augmentation features
- Contributing to the development tools used by our content team
- Opportunities to expand impact into our video processing pipeline and our content and augmentation engines
Requirements
- Strong experience in lower-level software development
- Ability to design, build, and maintain reliable, low-latency systems
- Comfortable working across complex, distributed architectures
Nice to Have
- Proven ability to code in different languages like Java, Kotlin, Rust, Typescript, etc.
- Proven ability to lead features or subsystems from ambiguous requirements through to production
- Strong collaboration skills, including code reviews, pairing, and clear technical communication
