Honeywell is seeking a Software Engineer to lead, design, and build applications, including SharePoint solutions, to meet the business process needs of the Refining, Oil and Gas, and Chemical Industries. You will be responsible for the full software development life cycle.
What You'll Do
- Analyze business requirements and design solutions, coding or configuring as per the design.
- Implement, test, and perform post-implementation validation for new development and enhancements.
- Create required documentation as part of application development efforts.
- Manage the SharePoint product life cycle including design, issue resolution, requirements gathering, configuration, implementation, and support.
- Manage, optimize, oversee, and monitor the retrieval, storage, and distribution of data.
- Work in coordination with other departments to implement architectural changes.
- Troubleshoot and debug custom and third-party SharePoint workflows and solutions with other developers.
- Develop and implement cloud solutions across projects including application development, identity/access management, network, and data management.
What We're Looking For
- BE/B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- 8+ years of experience in software development using Dotnet Core and SQL with integration implementation using ETL concepts.
- Experience developing and deploying production systems on Nintex/SharePoint and the .Net platform.
- Ability to complete all phases of the software development life cycle: analysis, design, functionality, testing, and support.
- Ability to develop large-scale applications and work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines.
- Ability to communicate clearly with business users and project managers.
- Experience with MS SQL Development (Custom Queries, Stored Procedures, Triggers).
- Ability to use continuous integration and distribution pipelines to deploy applications.
- Excellent communication skills, high energy, and a strong analytical thinker with an integration background.
- Strong problem-solving mentality with a will to deliver results; critical thinker and process/result-oriented.
- Proven ability in analyzing and providing solutions for complex projects/issues.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to JavaScript frameworks Angular or ReactJS.
- Knowledge of workflow integration in Cloud-Based environments such as Azure.
- Knowledge of SSIS, XML, SSRS.
- Strong communication skills and Oil and Gas domain experience.
- Experience in areas like EDI/XML and BizTalk / EDI Configuration ESB Toolkit WCF WCF-SQL BizTalk Data Mapping using SAP.Net Connectors HTTP Adaptor.
- Ability to demonstrate Nintex/Microsoft SharePoint features to prospective enterprise clients in presales phases.
