Luminary is looking for a Software Engineer - Product to drive product development on a small, high-leverage team. You will build dynamic, intelligent interfaces using AI and collaborate closely with leadership to elevate our product from early traction to industry leadership.
What You'll Do
- Drive product development with meaningful ownership over the process.
- Build dynamic, intelligent interfaces using leading AI technology.
- Use tools like Meticulous, Amp, Honeycomb, Temporal, and PostHog to build and support software.
- Collaborate in-person with leadership in the New York office.
- Iterate rapidly, shipping to production 20+ times per day.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of software engineering experience at companies with strong engineering practices.
- Product-focused, frontend-leaning fullstack engineer with a product mindset.
- Growth mindset and enjoyment of building software.
- Autonomous, responsible work ethic with strong ownership.
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with cloud-based web applications and complex data models.
- Familiarity with React, Typescript, GraphQL (Apollo), Playwright.
- Familiarity with Golang, Postgres, GraphQL.

Team & Environment
You will join a small, high-leverage engineering team and work closely with the Head of Product and Head of Engineering.
