OpenBorder is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take a leading role in building the systems that power global shipping, tax compliance, and merchant services. You'll own features from conception to deployment and help shape our technical direction.
What You'll Do
- Lead key projects and shape systems supporting global shipping, tax compliance, and merchant services.
- Take ownership of end-to-end feature delivery.
- Mentor other engineers.
- Influence technical direction across the stack.
- Build and ship full product features with minimal support.
- Contribute to technical design of scalable systems.
- Write tested, documented code across backend and frontend services.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate across the team.
What We're Looking For
- Experience delivering features in a production environment.
- Strong fundamentals in software development.
- Familiarity with both backend and frontend systems.
- Emphasis on testing, documentation, and clean code.
