Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with forward-deployed and customer engineers to identify product gaps and determine both immediate and long-term enhancements and fixes.
- Engage with and adopt Palantir's infrastructure strategy while understanding the requirements of customer stakeholders.
- Gain deep knowledge of Kubernetes primitives, the surrounding open-source ecosystem, and advanced service lifecycle semantics to address critical business challenges at scale.
- Design and evolve APIs that enable internal and customer software developers to interact with Kubernetes for their runtime needs, abstracting the underlying complex distributed systems.
- Work with your team and stakeholders to ensure sustainable and timely delivery of technical solutions that meet business requirements.
- Advocate for a long-term technology roadmap to minimize operational overhead, ensure scalability, reduce risks, and pursue significant improvements when possible.
