About the Role

Lockheed Martin Canada is hiring a Software Engineer to join a small integrated product team building a command and control solution for space systems. The role is contingent on program award in winter 2026 with a tentative start in March 2026.

What You'll Do

  • Design and document microservice-based architectures.
  • Develop software using Java or C#.
  • Perform UI/UX development.
  • Integrate software components via machine-to-machine interfaces.
  • Work with test automation and continuous integration/deployment.
  • Develop, debug, and test web applications and web services.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience designing and documenting microservice-based architectures.
  • Deep understanding of open architecture, cloud computing design, and security principles.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in software development using Java or C#.
  • UI/UX Development experience.
  • Ability to obtain TS/SCI Clearance.

Nice to Have

  • Experience integrating software via machine-to-machine interfaces like RESTful APIs or ActiveMQ.
  • Experience with test automation and continuous integration and deployment.
  • Demonstrated experience working in Agile teams leveraging Scrum or Kanban.
  • Strong Presentation Skills.
  • Experience with Cloud environments.
  • Understanding of application containerization with Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Strong background developing, debugging, and testing web applications and web services.
  • Experience with the ELK stack (Elastic Search, Kibana, Logstash).

  • Compensation: $76,500 - $134,895 (Standard) / $88,000 - $152,490 (Premium for CA, MA, NY major metros); varies by final work location.
