Lockheed Martin Canada is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Ground Product Line (GPL), developing mission-critical common ground software solutions for defense, intelligence, aerospace, and secure communications. You will use your software skills in a team environment to develop innovative features that provide decision-makers with faster, clearer, and more efficient information.
What You'll Do
- Design and document microservice-based architectures.
- Develop software using Java or C#.
- Perform UI/UX development.
- Work on Internal Research and Development projects or existing programs to support customer missions.
What We're Looking For
- Experience designing and documenting microservice-based architectures.
- Strong Presentation Skills.
- Deep understanding of open architecture, cloud computing design, and security principles.
- Demonstrated proficiency in software development using Java or C#.
- UI/UX Development.
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Cloud environments.
- Experience integrating software components via machine-to-machine interfaces (e.g., RESTful APIs, ActiveMQ).
- Understanding / proficiency in application containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with test automation and continuous integration and deployment.
- Strong background developing / debugging and/or testing of web applications and web services.
- Experience with Elastic Search, Kibana, Logstash (ELK stack).
- Demonstrated experience working in Agile teams leveraging Scrum, Kanban or other methodologies.
- Ability to obtain TS/SCI Clearance.

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary: $113,900 - $200,905 (CO, HI, IL, MD, MN, NJ, VT, WA, DC, and non-major metro CA, MA, NY). $131,000 - $227,125 (most major metropolitan areas in CA, MA, NY). Salary for other states reflects candidate's final work location.
