Responsibilities
- Collaborates with agile teams to enhance and support automated workflows, including build management, continuous integration, environment deployment, release coordination, and ongoing monitoring.
- Manages configurations, standards, and scripting for both cloud-hosted and on-premises systems and services.
- Provides and maintains server environments to enable development teams to efficiently create, modify, or remove test environments.
- Works alongside engineers to automate and configure servers, network devices, firewalls, load balancers, and operating systems across on-premises and cloud platforms using Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Executes advanced software development tasks requiring innovative use of design, coding, and debugging techniques as part of an Agile team.
- Keeps Agile team members and the APM informed about the current status of product development.
- Analyzes system logs to support security protocols and ensures build pipelines operate efficiently with successful automated and scheduled tasks.
- Plans, documents, implements, and supervises infrastructure updates and configuration modifications.
- Evaluates, recommends, and acquires new technologies aligned with business needs, user requirements, and technical standards.
- Contributes to disaster recovery planning, testing, and response activities with an emphasis on system restoration capabilities.
- Assists business units in resolving complex user inquiries and technical issues.
- Stays current with emerging technologies and evolving software engineering standards and methodologies.
- Partners with IT leadership to establish and maintain documentation standards, engineering artifact templates, and development processes.
