Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and consistent services with reusable, modular code following industry best practices.
- Work closely with stakeholders, product managers, and engineering managers to turn business needs into software solutions, set timelines, and estimate effort.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure high code quality and performance.
- Keep up with new technologies and tools, promote their adoption when suitable, and foster a culture of continuous learning and team growth.
Requirements
- Extensive backend development experience with solid knowledge of event-driven architectures, microservices, and domain-driven design.
- Strong English communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and accountable with strong problem-solving skills and a growth mindset.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
Nice to Have
- Good knowledge of functional programming languages.
- Professional experience with Rust and/or Elixir.
- First-hand experience with test-driven development (TDD), Event-Sourcing, and CQRS.
- Experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
